TEFL/TESL CERTIFICATE
The TEFL/TESL Program runs 3 consecutive weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, from 9am to 6pm

- Introduction to Business English Specialization
Day 2
- Presentation of country profiles and teaching opportunities
- Grammar refresher
- How to teach grammar
- Using warm ups
Day 3
- Practicum 1: teaching a grammar lesson
- Practicum 2: delivering a warm up
- Teaching Pronunciation
- Teaching Children
Day 4
- Practicum 3: teaching a pronunciation exercise
- Teaching the 4 skills: speaking, listening, reading, writing
Day 5
- Class Management
- Curriculum Development
- Lesson Planning
- International Resume Preparation
Day 6
- Job placement seminar
- Visas, contracts, bonuses, accommodations, airfare, health, insurance, taxes
- Practicum 4 complete lesson delivery : warm up-lesson-activity
- Instructor Feedback
There is an additional 40 hour course available to those students wishing to specialize in teaching Business English.
Course Materials: 1. TEFL/TESL Training Manual 2. Textbook "How to Teach English" by Jeremy Harmer. Included in fee.
