ecology, and has an extensive national park system. You can
explore a rain forest with its spectacular birds, wild orchids,
and fascinating wildlife. You can observe troops of Howler
monkeys, Spider monkeys, and White Face monkeys in the wild. You
can watch the largest turtles in the world, the endangered
Leatherback Sea Turtles, as they nest on Costa Rican beaches.
Costa Rica also has active volcanos, beautiful coral reefs,
fantastic windsurfing, and white water rafting over some of the
most exciting rapids in the world.
